As part of the 54th Festival Internacional Cervantino (FIC), the University of Guanajuato (UG) Cine Club is hosting 10 film cycles featuring over 50 free screenings. The program is available in three municipalities and online.

In collaboration with the French Embassy in Mexico and the French Institute for Latin America, the selection highlights French cinematography. Themes include childhood, inclusive cinema, and social issues. Specific cycles include ‘Travesías’, showcasing contemporary French cinema, and ‘French Classics’, which features titles like ‘The Umbrellas of Cherbourg’ and works by François Truffaut. A dedicated cycle for director Agnès Varda is scheduled from October 12 to 16.
