University of Guanajuato supports students following police aggression

The University of Guanajuato (UG) has announced its full support for students demanding justice following alleged police aggression. Rector Claudia Susana Gómez López stated that the institution will participate in upcoming working groups with state authorities and the State Attorney General's Office to address the incident involving four students and members of the Guanajuato Municipal Police.

Gómez López emphasized that the university respects freedom of expression and rejects any attempts to inhibit protests. The institution is seeking a thorough investigation to clarify the facts and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
