University of Huelva Law Faculty and Acolman mark historical milestones

The Faculty of Law at the University of Huelva (UHU) is celebrating 30 years of independence. The institution marks its history of transitioning from being part of the University of Seville to establishing its own autonomous identity. Faculty members recalled the early days of studying at the La Rábida campus before the move to the La Merced building.

In Acolman, local authorities have interred a time capsule to commemorate the municipality's bicentennial. The capsule contains photographs, official documents, maps, and testimonies regarding municipal life and administration in 2026. Mayor Blanca Sánchez Osorio stated the initiative aims to create a link between current residents and future generations. The capsule is scheduled to be opened in 2076.
