University of Huelva welcomes 400 international students

The University of Huelva is welcoming approximately 400 international students for the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. These students arrive from more than 20 countries through the Erasmus program and other international mobility initiatives.

While Italy, France, and Germany remain the primary countries of origin, the university noted a growing trend of students arriving from Asia, specifically from China and Japan. Rector José Rodríguez emphasized the strategic importance of internationalization, noting that total mobility is expected to exceed 600 students once the second semester begins.
