University of Idaho extends men's basketball coach Alex Pribble's contract
The University of Idaho has granted men’s basketball head coach Alex Pribble a three-year contract extension. The new agreement, approved by the Idaho State Board of Education, ensures Pribble will lead the Vandals through the 2030-31 season.
The extension follows a historic 2025-26 campaign in which the program secured its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 36 years. During that season, the Vandals achieved a 21-15 record and captured their first Big Sky Conference Tournament championship since 1990 by defeating Montana in the title game.
Under Pribble’s leadership, the team set program records for made three-pointers and achieved significant defensive improvements, including leading the Big Sky Conference in defensive rebounds.
