University of Ioannina delegation visits University of Gjirokastër

A delegation from the University of Ioannina, led by Rector Professor Anna K. Batistatou, visited the “Eqrem Çabej” University of Gjirokastër to strengthen academic and scientific ties between the two institutions.

Discussions focused on enhancing cross-border cooperation in education, research, and lifelong learning. Given the geographic proximity and close regional ties between Ioannina and Gjirokastër, both parties explored ways to connect education and research with local society, the economy, and the labor market. The institutions aim to develop joint initiatives with regional and European orientations, moving toward specific, implementable cooperation through carefully planned steps.
