The University of Iowa women’s soccer team secured a 5-0 victory against Loyola (Ill.) at the Iowa Soccer Complex. This win improves the Hawkeyes' season record to 2-0, marked by two consecutive shutout victories.

Five different players scored for Iowa: Liana Tarasco, Jada Grove, Elle Wildman, Kylie Cino, and Sara Batchadji. The team dominated possession with 67 percent and outshot Loyola 29-3. Goalkeeper Braelynn Galt recorded her second consecutive shutout. The Hawkeyes have scored 12 goals in their first two games, the highest total for a two-game opening stretch in program history.
