University of Juiz de Fora hosts Brazil's first sports innovation and technology management seminar

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports (Faefid) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora organized the inaugural Seminar on Innovation and Technology Management in Sport. Held on 14‑15 May in the Graduate School Amphitheater, the event gathered researchers, students, professionals and entrepreneurs to discuss trends such as digital tools, data analysis, wearable devices, performance analytics and market strategies. It was supported by the Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CRITT), the university’s graduate program, the startup IRun+ and the Bibifitness platform, aiming to bridge academic work with market demands in the sports sector.
