University of Kara expands industrial and aviation partnerships in Togo
The University of Kara is expanding its partnerships with Togo's professional sectors to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
A delegation led by University President Professor Prénam Houzou-Mouzou met with the Société Aéroportuaire de Lomé-Tokoin (SALT) to discuss collaboration in aviation training, expertise sharing, and research related to air transport and airport management. This initiative aims to align academic knowledge with the evolving requirements of the airport sector.
Additionally, the University of Kara signed a five-year framework agreement with the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) coordination authority. Signed by Professor Houzou-Mouzou and General Administrator Lieutenant-Colonel Idiola Sandah, the agreement focuses on three strategic pillars: technology transfer, sustainable industrial development, and incubation support. The partnership seeks to facilitate the transition of students into the workforce and promote innovation through the integration of scientific capabilities with industrial needs.
