University of Lagos to host El Clásico watch party

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) will host a community watch party this Sunday for the El Clásico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Organized by StarTimes and Meridianbet, the event will take place at King Jaja Hall starting at 6 p.m., ahead of the 9 p.m. kick-off.

The gathering aims to provide a social hub for students and football enthusiasts to experience the high-stakes La Liga encounter together. The event will feature entertainment, fan activities, and giveaways.

The match carries significant implications for the La Liga title race. Barcelona currently holds a six-point lead over Real Madrid. A victory for Barcelona would extend that lead to nine points, while a Real Madrid win would narrow the gap to three points.
