University of L'Aquila graduates rank among highest-paid in Italy

The University of L'Aquila has achieved top rankings in the 2026 University Report by the Osservatorio Jobpricing. Graduates in Industrial and Information Engineering are identified as the highest-paid in Italy.

According to the report, chemical engineering leads with an annual gross salary (RAL) of €37,693, which is 9.4% above the national average. Other high-earning disciplines include mechanical, management, electrical, electronic, and information engineering. Economics graduates also performed strongly, ranking sixth with an average salary of €36,246, or 5.2% above the national average.

Overall, the University of L'Aquila ranked 6th for remuneration and 4th for the payback period—the time required for a graduate's salary to cover their educational expenses—within the 24-35 age demographic.
