University of Limassol and University of Crete sign cooperation memorandum

The University of Limassol and the University of Crete have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen international academic collaboration and institutional outreach. The agreement, signed on August 26, 2026, in Rethymno, establishes a framework for joint actions based on mutual trust and legal compliance.

Key components of the partnership include the exchange of faculty members and students, participation in joint research and educational programs, and the sharing of academic information. The institutions will also co-organize scientific and cultural events. A significant aspect of the agreement involves the development of joint training programs and professional development initiatives through the Center for Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of the University of Crete, aiming to leverage the expertise of both institutions for international educational initiatives.
