University of Ljubljana Faculty of Electrical Engineering showcases research and innovation
The University of Ljubljana Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (UL FE) is showcasing its research and technological advancements through various regional and international initiatives.
At the 58th MOS event in Celje, UL FE is presenting research in fields such as mechatronics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and micro/nanotechnology. A key focus includes the development of the Slovenian semiconductor ecosystem, highlighted by the presentation of the Čip.si Competence Center.
In the realm of energy infrastructure, UL FE and Elektro Ljubljana recently presented findings from the European STREAM and OPENTUNITY projects. These projects focus on increasing the flexibility of low-voltage networks and managing data exchange to optimize smart grids, particularly in industrial zones like Ajdovščina.
Additionally, the faculty participated in the ‘INCLUDIn’ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) in collaboration with several European institutions, including the University of Zagreb. This program focused on inclusive design for digital innovation, covering topics such as accessible app design, 3D printing for accessibility, and inclusive 3D technologies.
