University of Louisville men's soccer opens 2026 season against IU Indy

The University of Louisville men's soccer team is set to begin its 2026 season on Thursday, August 20, at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. The Cardinals will host IU Indy for the season opener.

The roster features a mix of 13 returning players and 14 newcomers, including eight freshmen and six transfers. The team is led by captains Ryan Quintos, Jack Lewis, and Noah De Blasis. Several players have received preseason recognition, including Andrés Escudero Martín and Giacomo Zizza, who were both named to the MAC Hermann Trophy positional watch lists.
