University of Louisville volleyball hosts Notre Dame

The No. 4 ranked University of Louisville volleyball team is set to host Notre Dame at the L&N Federal Credit Union Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 30. This match marks the end of a seven-match away streak for the Cardinals as they continue Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play.

Louisville enters the matchup following a successful weekend in the Northeast, where they secured consecutive sweeps against Syracuse and Boston College. The team currently holds a 12-2 record and has maintained a position in the Top 10 of the AVCA rankings since September 2021.

Statistically, the Cardinals rank third nationally in both kills per set (14.60) and hitting percentage (.318). They also lead the ACC in assists per set with 13.26. Middle blocker Addison Makunwas was recently named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week following her performance in the conference opening matches.
