University of Macedonia launches student leadership programs
The University of Macedonia has commenced interviews for two leadership development programs aimed at students in Thessaloniki. The selection process, which began on September 14 and is scheduled to continue until September 30, 2026, seeks to identify 20 participants in total.
The first program, titled ‘Diploma in Leadership Skills: Children of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow’, is in its 14th cycle. It is designed for middle and high school students, with only 10 positions available. The second program, ‘Leaders of Today’, is in its fifth year and targets 5th and 6th-grade elementary students. This program utilizes experiential exercises to teach teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, public speaking, and emotional management.
Professor Doxa Papakonstantinou serves as the scientific director for these initiatives.
