University of Menoufia marks first graduate batch and opens new sports club

The University of Menoufia in Egypt announced the graduation of its inaugural cohort from the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, completing the Internet of Things and Big Data Analytics program. Four students received an "Excellent" distinction and six were awarded "Very Good". Dr. Ahmed Farag Al‑Qassed, the university’s president, highlighted the milestone as evidence of the institution’s role in Egypt’s push for digital transformation and knowledge‑based economy.

In a separate development, Dr. Al‑Qassed also confirmed the approval of Minister of Youth and Sports Joher Nabil to inaugurate a University Sports Club. The new club will feature modern sports facilities—including Olympic‑size swimming pools, indoor halls, and playing fields—and will serve students, staff, their families, and the surrounding community. The initiative aims to foster sporting talent, host local and international competitions, and support the university’s golden jubilee celebrations.
