University of Messina Welcome Fest draws nearly 2,000 participants

The University of Messina (Unime) held its Welcome Fest, a two-day event designed for orientation, information, and entertainment. The first day of the festival saw nearly 2,000 participants.

University Rector Giovanna Spatari noted that the event utilized an innovative format intended to engage not only new students but also high school students considering their future academic paths. The festival also featured significant involvement from student associations to facilitate connections between new students and existing university organizations.

The event included various activities such as information areas and musical performances, including a quiz involving ACR Messina players and sets by musical artists.
