University of Messina welcomes 41 new researchers

The University of Messina (UniMe) has officially welcomed 41 new fixed-term researchers during a ceremony held in the Aula Magna. This group represents the second phase of a university mission aimed at strengthening researcher recruitment and enhancing research value.

This latest intake follows the hiring of 35 researchers in June, bringing the total number of recruits from these two phases to 76. The ceremony was attended by university leadership, including Rector Giovanna Spatari, Pro-Rector for Research Paola Dugo, and several other pro-rectors and directors.

During the event, Rector Spatari presented each of the 41 new researchers with a personalized business card specifying their roles for the upcoming six-year period. Spatari emphasized that the university continues to invest in young professionals to ensure a confident future for the institution.
