University of Monastir opens applications for CICSIC 2026 innovation contest
The University of Monastir’s student entrepreneurship hub has opened applications for the 2026 China International College Students' Innovation Competition (CICSIC). Organized by the Chinese Ministry of Education, the competition serves as a global platform for academic startups and high-level scientific research.
Tunisian students are encouraged to submit projects in high-value sectors, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, digital technologies, health biotechnology, sustainable agri-food engineering, and energy transition devices. To qualify, teams must consist of two members, comprising students currently enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs, or recent graduates.
Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive business plan that addresses technical challenges, prototype commercial viability, market analysis, economic models, and growth forecasts. The registration deadline is September 15, 2026.
