University of Montenegro to revitalize 30,000 square meters of Tološka Forest
The University of Montenegro (UCG) has announced the revitalization of 30,000 square meters of Tološka Forest, a significant green space located within the university campus in Podgorica.
As part of the university’s green agenda, the project aims to integrate the forest more closely with the campus. This includes creating working and creative spaces for students equipped with Wi-Fi, as well as dedicated areas for social and cultural gatherings. The university stated that all interventions will utilize ecological materials and adhere to modern sustainability principles.
Planned improvements include the preservation and enhancement of existing sports and recreational facilities, such as the trim track, a 100-meter track, and a long jump zone. New additions will feature outdoor seating areas, children's playgrounds, pavilions, yoga spaces, and a water mist zone. To support biodiversity, the project will introduce new plant species, aromatic herbs, and bird feeders.
