University of Mostar Student Center Houses 260 Seniors, Plans 150 New Beds

The Student Center of the University of Mostar finished the admission competition for senior‑year students, receiving almost 400 applications and granting accommodation to 260, fully filling the available capacity. Director Anita Glibić said the demand “far exceeded the available capacity,” underscoring the centre’s reputation for quality service.

A new development project for 150 A‑category places is being prepared on the Rodoč campus. The plan includes double rooms, apartments with kitchenettes, a fitness centre, a restaurant with 200 seats and a photovoltaic plant expected to cut operating costs. The admission round for first‑year students will run from 24 August to 15 September, with about 120 fresh‑men expected to apply.
