University of Mostar Student Center opens freshman housing applications

The University of Mostar Student Center has announced that applications for freshman housing will open on Monday, August 24. The administration has secured 120 places for incoming students, though officials expect the number of applicants to significantly exceed available capacity.

Anita Glibić, director of the Student Center, noted that recent applications for older students also saw demand far outstripping supply. Consequently, the center is working on projects to expand its accommodation units to better meet student needs in the future.

Eligibility is limited to full-time students of the University of Mostar who do not reside in the municipality of Mostar and are enrolling in their studies for the first time. Priority placement is granted to specific groups, including students with disabilities (categories 1 to 5), students from foster care or social welfare homes, and those facing specific family hardships such as the loss or absence of parents.
