University of Nebraska–Lincoln student shares unexpected campus discovery

Meredith Fontana, a senior forensic science major at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, discovered the institution by chance during a family road trip pit stop. After a campus visit, she chose to enroll due to the university's forensic science program.

Fontana currently serves as a resident assistant for Knoll and a new student enrollment orientation leader. She has focused on fostering community and supporting student growth, aiming to provide the same welcoming environment she experienced as an out-of-state student.
