University of Nebraska–Lincoln to award 600 degrees at August 15 commencement

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will hold a combined graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony on Aug. 15 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, conferring roughly 600 doctoral, Juris Doctor, master’s and baccalaureate degrees.

Interim Chancellor Katherine S. Ankerson will preside over the event, and Susan Sheridan, founding director of the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools, will deliver the keynote address. The university will also bestow a posthumous Doctor of Education on alumna and former professor Louise Pound.
