University of New Hampshire tops America East preseason swimming poll

The America East Conference has released its 2026-27 preseason coaches poll for swimming and diving. The University of New Hampshire women’s team was voted number one in the poll, earning 22 points and two first-place votes.

Bryant University’s women’s team was selected second with 21 points, while the men’s team was ranked third. The Bryant women’s program enters the season following a recent America East Championship title.

In the men’s preseason poll, UMBC was ranked first, followed by Binghamton in second and Bryant in third. The 2027 America East Championships are scheduled to take place from February 24 to 27 in Buffalo, New York.
