University of Nicosia expands Law School faculty and educational programs

The University of Nicosia is expanding its academic and research capabilities through new faculty appointments and educational initiatives. The University's Law School is strengthening its teaching staff in both Nicosia and Athens, adding experts in fields such as Constitutional, Administrative, and European Law, as well as Digital Law, Artificial Intelligence, and Human Rights. Notably, Professor Panagiotis Delimatsis, a specialist in European and International Economic Law from Tilburg University, is set to join UNIC Athens in September 2026.

In addition to faculty growth, the University successfully hosted an online seminar titled ‘School Leadership and Digital Resilience,’ which focused on STEM education, interdisciplinary approaches, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in teaching. The event drew over 150 participants and featured discussions on integrating modern technologies into pedagogical practices to support learning and problem-solving.
