University of North Carolina hosts welcome events for returning students

The University of North Carolina is hosting various events to welcome students back for the start of the academic year. These activities, organized by university departments and student organizations, include library tours of the Walter Royal Davis and Wilson libraries, as well as a sports club fair featuring 42 different clubs.

Traditional campus activities are also taking place, such as the Sunset Serenade, which features performances by various a cappella groups, and the long-standing tradition of students drinking from the Old Well to encourage academic success.
