University of North Texas and UT Arlington announce athletic updates

The University of North Texas (UNT) has announced its fall tennis schedule under head coach Amanda Stone. The team, which posted a 17-9 record in the 2025-26 season, will begin competition in mid-September with tournaments in Abilene, Flagstaff, and Cary, North Carolina. The fall campaign includes the ITA Regional in Fort Worth, the American Conference Individual Championships in Houston, and the TCU Invite. The season concludes in early November with the Hurricane Invite in Tulsa.

Meanwhile, the University of Texas Arlington (UTA) women's golf team has finalized its 2026-27 roster with the addition of four new players. Notable additions include transfers Camilah Porras from UT-Dallas and Chloe De Verner from Odessa College. De Verner, a native of Monte Carlo, Monaco, previously earned All-America first team honors and was part of a national championship-winning program.
