University of Patras hosts Welcome to UP 2026 festival

The University of Patras is hosting the ‘Welcome to UP 2026’ festival from October 6 to 10, 2026, to welcome new students. The event features a diverse program spanning Patras and Missolonghi, including sports, music, tours, and workshops.

A key component of the festival is the ‘Mediterranean Voices’ initiative held at Villa Kolla. Organized in collaboration with the cultural association ‘il Faro’, this international meeting aims to connect young artists and students from Mediterranean countries, including Italy, Spain, France, Tunisia, Egypt, and Greece, to foster intercultural dialogue through collective artistic creation.

The festival schedule includes activities such as tours of the Rio-Antirrio Bridge and the Archaeological Museum, workshops, and musical performances. Notable performers include Ross Daly, Babo Koro, and The 5MATES.
