Youth and participants from the Ambet Hasman Day Center for People with Disabilities recently visited Villa Kolla at the University of Patras to attend the ‘Welcome to Up’ festival.

The visit included a morning shadow theater workshop led by Giorgos Karakantza, where participants used professional lighting and custom figures to engage in creative storytelling and movement. In the afternoon, the group attended various festival events featuring international participants from Italy, France, Spain, Tunisia, and Greece. Highlights included theatrical performances such as ‘The Dream of Miriam’ and shadow theater accompanied by traditional music from Tunisia and the Kerkenna Islands.
