University of Pisa to host UniPiOrienta for 11,000 students
The University of Pisa will host UniPiOrienta from October 15 to 17 at the Polo Fibonacci in Pisa. The event is designed to assist over 11,000 high school students in navigating their future academic and professional paths.
The three-day program includes presentations of degree courses, seminars, open lessons, and hands-on laboratory experiments. Students can participate in the ‘Ask the Tutors’ sessions to speak directly with current university students about campus life. Specialized seminars, such as ‘Choosing Well: A Skill to Train,’ will be held daily to help students develop decision-making skills.
In addition to academic offerings, the event features individual counseling sessions and dedicated areas for campus services, including information on student rights, disability inclusion, international mobility, and career entry. Other participating institutions include the Scuola Normale Superiore, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, and the Naval Academy of Livorno.
