Traffic bans imposed for Patanisca Festival in Cercal do Alentejo

The Câmara Municipal de Santiago do Cacém announced that vehicular traffic and parking will be prohibited in Cercal do Alentejo from 27 July to 5 August while the Patanisca Festival takes place. The restriction aims to ensure safety and smooth operation of the cultural events during the festival period.

In parallel, the municipality organized a "Roteiro Gastronómico" – a gastronomic route – dedicated to the Patanisca celebration, offering visitors local culinary experiences throughout the same dates.

Both measures are part of the local authority's effort to manage the influx of participants and promote the region's cultural and gastronomic heritage.
