University of Porto opens 307 vacancies for second admissions phase

The University of Porto has announced 307 available vacancies for the second phase of the 2026/2027 National Higher Education Access Contest. These openings cover 51 of the institution's 62 undergraduate and integrated master's programs.

Courses with the highest number of available spots include Chemistry (25), Pharmaceutical Sciences (21), Geology (20), Philosophy (16), Biology (15), Educational Sciences (15), Law (15), Nutritional Sciences (15), and Art History (10). Applications for this phase are open until September 20.

In the first phase of the national contest, the University of Porto achieved a 99.1% vacancy fill rate, the highest in the country. The institution also recorded the highest entry averages nationally, with top-performing programs including Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, and Industrial Engineering and Management.
