University of Rochester welcomes Class of 2030

The University of Rochester has welcomed its Class of 2030, a group of approximately 1,400 students. The incoming class is geographically diverse, representing 45 U.S. states and 27 different countries.

First-year students reported various initial impressions of the campus, including the presence of local wildlife such as deer and squirrels near the downtown area. Students also participated in early campus integration activities as they settled into their academic programs and residential life.
