University of Salerno hosts Career Day focused on AI

The University of Salerno is hosting the twelfth edition of ‘Job in Campus’, a Career Day designed to strengthen the connection between academic training and the business world. The 2026 theme, ‘Is AI with you? Transform Artificial Intelligence into an ally for your future’, focuses on the role of artificial intelligence in the labor market and the necessity of developing skills to navigate technological changes.

The event consists of two main components. On October 20, an inaugural conference titled ‘Tools, skills and scenarios to build your professional future with the support of Artificial Intelligence’ will be held at the Fisciano Campus. This session will feature institutional greetings from Rector Virgilio D’Antonio and contributions from representatives of Iren S.p.A., Confindustria Salerno, and regional officials from Campania.

On October 21, the event will transition to a practical format at the Library of the Technological and Scientific Pole. During this day, students, graduates, and soon-to-be graduates can participate in one-to-one meetings with companies and recruiters to discuss required professional profiles and career opportunities.
