University of Sassari launches Police Law Master's program

The University of Sassari has inaugurated a second-level Master's degree in Police Law and Public Security. This program is noted as being one of the few examples of its kind in Italy.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chief of the State Police and Director General of Public Security, Vittorio Pisani. Other notable attendees included University Rector Gavino Mariotti, Sassari Police Commissioner Filiberto Mastrapasqua, and the Director of the Department of Jurisprudence, Michele Comenale Pinto.

During the event, Master's Director Giovanni Barrocu presented the program's objectives and curriculum. Vittorio Pisani concluded the ceremony with remarks regarding security and the role of institutions in a contemporary context. Following the proceedings, Rector Mariotti presented Pisani with the historical seal of the University of Sassari.
