University of Siena announces scholarships for victims of domestic violence
The University of Siena has announced a public call for scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year specifically intended for students who are victims of domestic violence. The measure provides direct financial support of 12,000 euros gross per year, distributed in monthly installments of 1,000 euros. Additionally, eligible students will receive a total exemption from university fees for their entire course of study, excluding regional taxes and stamp duties, provided they maintain minimum merit requirements.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolling for the first time in non-restricted three-year or single-cycle degree programs at the University of Siena. Candidates must be included in protection programs related to gender-based violence, as certified by social services, anti-violence centers, or shelters. Applications can be submitted between July 9 and September 15, 2026.
