University of Silesia offers mindfulness course for students

The University of Silesia in Katowice is offering a free, eight-week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Life (MBCT-L) course specifically for students and doctoral candidates. The program is designed to help participants develop mindfulness, self-regulation, and mental resilience to better manage academic pressure, stress, anxiety, and tension.

The course combines theoretical knowledge with mindfulness practice and includes eight sessions plus a dedicated Mindfulness Day. Led by Agnieszka Bielska-Brodziak and Dagna Kocur, the program is open to students of all disciplines, regardless of prior meditation experience. Sessions are scheduled to take place on Tuesday evenings at the Faculty of Law and Administration.
