University of São Paulo hosts legal seminars and honors Kazuo Watanabe

The University of São Paulo (USP) is hosting two significant academic and legal events. On August 12, the Ribeirão Preto Law School (FDRP) will hold a seminar to honor jurist Kazuo Watanabe, culminating in the presentation of the title of Professor Emeritus. The seminar will address topics including access to justice, consensual conflict resolution methods, and academic cooperation with Japanese institutions such as Keio University and Osaka University.

Additionally, on August 17, the Fundação Arcadas, in partnership with the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo (MPSP), will host a seminar titled ‘The Public Ministry and Business Law’ at the USP Law School. This event will feature panels of judges, prosecutors, and specialists discussing corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, judicial recovery, and the prevention of money laundering.
