University of Szeged launches summer music academy

The Faculty of Arts at the University of Szeged (SZTE) has opened its Szeged Summer Academy, a two‑week program offering instrumental courses, themed lectures, and a series of concerts. The academy, now in its 20th year, targets young musicians, music‑high‑school students, university students and early‑career teachers, providing master‑classes and open‑to‑the‑public performances. The opening concert took place in the Fricsay Ferenc Hall, featuring teachers of the master‑classes, and subsequent days will include sessions on orchestral work, improvisation and opera repertoire, culminating in a gala concert where academy participants showcase their progress.
