University of Talca hosts exhibition honoring Vicente Huidobro

The University of Talca is hosting ‘Atentado Celeste: diálogos visuales con Vicente Huidobro’, a collective exhibition at the Sala Abate Molina. Curated by Ernesto Muñoz, the show features the work of 20 contemporary artists in a multidisciplinary dialogue between literature and the visual arts, inspired by the Creacionismo movement.

The exhibition pays tribute to the legacy of Chilean poet Vicente Huidobro, whose avant-garde approach emphasized that art should invent its own universes rather than merely imitating reality. Marcela Albornoz Dachelet, Director of Cultural-Artistic Extension, noted that the exhibition aims to decentralize access to art by bringing these works to the Maule community.
