University of Teramo presents Italian Constitution to new graduates
The University of Teramo has launched an initiative to provide all new graduates with a copy of the Italian Constitution alongside their traditional degree parchment. The program was inaugurated during a ceremony for the Department of Biosciences, Agro-food and Environmental Technologies.
The copies are special editions provided by the Chamber of Deputies to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the election of the Constituent Assembly. Rector Christian Corsi stated that the initiative aims to foster civic awareness and social responsibility, providing students with a reference for their future professional and personal lives.
Corsi emphasized the importance of constitutional principles in an era facing challenges such as disinformation and attempts to interfere with democratic institutions. He noted that the document serves as a guide for protecting democracy and understanding the rights and duties of citizens.
