University of the Pacific men’s soccer sees coaching and player milestones

The University of the Pacific men’s soccer program has achieved notable milestones under first-year head coach Andres Ochoa. In the 2026 campaign, the Tigers secured their first victory at Greater Zion Stadium against Utah Tech with a 3-2 win. This victory marks the fastest first win for a men’s soccer head coach since the program joined the West Coast Conference in 2013.

Additionally, goalkeeper Joshua Moya has transitioned to professional soccer. Moya previously gained recognition for his performance during a significant upset against No. 2 ranked Stanford, where he recorded 11 saves to help secure a 1-1 tie despite playing a portion of the match with a man disadvantage.
