University of the State of Amazonas Begins July Scholarship and Assistance Payments

The Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA) announced that on 28 July it started disbursing extension and tutoring scholarships together with a permanent‑stay assistance grant for students in the state capital and interior. The payments cover benefits for the month of July, though the university did not disclose the number of recipients or the total amount transferred.

UEA said the funds became available after completing administrative steps with the Secretaria de Estado da Fazenda do Amazonas (SEFAZ‑AM). There is no fixed deposit date; payments may be made up to the last day of each month. Rector André Zogahib noted the support helps vulnerable students remain enrolled.

The university advised students to monitor official channels and academic systems to confirm the status of their payments.
