University of the Third Age in Chieti announces 2026–2027 program

The University of the Third Age (UNITRE) in Chieti has announced its educational and workshop program for the 2026–2027 academic year. The official presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, at the Istituto Tecnico Galiani.

The curriculum is designed to foster intergenerational social interaction and community participation through a variety of disciplines, including literature, languages, history, philosophy, art, psychology, astronomy, and botany. The program emphasizes a vision of culture as a shared experience and knowledge as a community practice.

In addition to theoretical courses, the university offers an extensive range of practical workshops. These include painting, photography, creative writing, expressive reading, film acting, theatrical animation, choral singing, digital skills, folk dance, and games such as bridge and burraco.
