University of Thessaly to host TrophyTrophy 2026 food technology event

The TrophyTrophy 2026 initiative will hold its fourth Meet-Up on November 3, 2026, at the University of Thessaly in Larissa, Greece. The event, themed “From the field to the foods of tomorrow,” aims to connect the agri-food industry, entrepreneurship support organizations, academics, researchers, and startups.

The meeting focuses on the integration of research and technology throughout the production chain, from primary production to the market. A key discussion panel, titled “Functionality and high-value agri-food products,” will explore linking scientific knowledge with the development of high-value products. Participants include representatives from FoodOxys, the Thessaly Nuts Agricultural Cooperative, and the Platykampou Agricultural Cooperative.

The event is organized by the New Agriculture New Generation organization and supported by EIT Food’s Grow program and the Citi Foundation through the BE Future Ready program.
