University of Toulouse organizes breast cancer awareness events

The University of Toulouse is organizing events for ‘Octobre rose’ to highlight a decade of progress in the fight against breast cancer. A roundtable discussion led by Professor Florence Dalenc, an oncologist at IUCT-Oncopole, will examine advancements in screening, surgery, personalized treatments, and patient support.

The initiative includes a panel of experts, researchers, and patients to discuss future challenges and perspectives in cancer management. Additionally, the university will host a dedicated awareness run for students and staff as part of the ‘Futurs Proches’ festival on October 15, 2026.
