University of Tuscia ranks among top 900 globally in QS 2027

The University of Tuscia (Università della Tuscia) has secured a place in the 851‑900 band of the QS World University Rankings 2027, confirming its position from the previous year. Nationally, the university ranks 29th out of 47 Italian institutions that entered the list, which evaluated 8,808 universities worldwide.

In the research impact indicator “Citations per Faculty,” Tuscia placed 250th globally, placing it in the top 25 % of institutions. Its international‑student metric also improved, climbing from 607th to 521st worldwide – a gain of 86 positions. The overall QS score remained stable at 21.2, above the global median.

A separate assessment by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) for 2026 placed the university 1,409th worldwide (top 6.7 %), 59th in Italy and 475th in Europe. Rector Prof. Tiziana Laureti highlighted the achievement as recognition of faculty talent and ongoing investment in research and global outreach.
