University of Udine launches Collega-menti festival

The fourth edition of Collega-menti, a scientific and cultural dissemination festival organized by the University of Udine, is scheduled to begin on October 2, 2026. Centered on the theme of “Equilibri” (Balances) across science, society, and daily life, the event will feature eight meetings across Friuli and Gorizia, including Udine, Pordenone, and Gemona del Friuli.

The inaugural day in Udine will host over one thousand students at the Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine for “Tubology - La scienza del tubo,” a physics-focused laboratory performance led by physicist Marco Testa. Additionally, a scientific quiz regarding climate and the environment will be held at the Fondazione Filippo Renati, utilizing smartphones to engage students on topics such as global warming and scientific data.
